Are apartments furnished?
All units include a full size washer & dryer, a stainless steel microwave, a stainless steel fridge and pantry storage. For an additional cost you can lease out a furnished unit that includes a bed, bed frame, dresser, night stand, a desk and desk chair in the bedroom. In the living room The Retreat will provide a 43" smart TV, an entertainment stand, a coffee table, an end table, couch pieces and bar stools for the island. We furnish by the unit and unfortunately, can not furnish only single bed spaces. 
How do I secure my spot?
In order to reserve your space at The Retreat you must apply online, be approved, sign a lease agreement and provide an approved guarantor or pay a security deposit. If all of these steps are not completed then your space will not be reserved. 
Is The Retreat at Corvallis affiliated with Oregon State University?
We are not affiliated with Oregon State University but we work closely with the university to help serve our residents better.
Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
We accept online payments from Visa, MasterCard, Discover or an electronic check. There is a small convenience charge for this service.
If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?
If an approved guarantor cannot be obtained, EdR Management, Inc. will accept a security deposit of one (1) installment.
If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Currently, we do not offer a monetary discount on prepaid accounts.
What do I need to hook my computer to the internet?
We offer community-wide Wi-Fi!
What if I need to cancel my lease?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a lease termination clause in the lease. The resident is responsible for the entire lease contract.
What size are the beds?
Our furnished cottages come fully furnished with queen size beds. Our furnished Garden apartments come with a full size bed.  
What utilities are included in my monthly installment?
Your payments include water, trash, cable and internet with Wi-Fi. The only thing you are responsible for is electricity!

Renewal Questions

Can I request different roommates?
We want you to be comfortable here, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your roommate requests.
What is a "renewal?"
Are you loving it here and can't imagine leaving at the end of your lease? By signing a renewal, you get to extend your stay at your community!
If I renew, do I have to move out then move back in?
When you renew and choose to stay in your current spot, no moving is required!
If I renew, will my guarantor have to sign again?
No. Your guarantor doesn't have to do anything extra!
I'm graduating in December, can I still renew?
Contact the office for details on the options available to you.
I just moved in, is it too early to renew?
Renewing now will provide the most benefit to you. By signing early, you will secure your space for next year and take advantage of the best pricing available.
How do I renew?

We know how busy you are, so we have made the process as quick and easy as possible. Renewing is a easy as "1,2,3!" Just following these steps:

1. Open your renewal email from us.
2. Review the terms, and click "Accept"
3. Follow the prompts to sign the new lease agreement.

It's that easy!

When do I start paying the new rent amount?
On the first day of your new lease.
